The Professor

Following my return from World War 2, I was a shut in. I saw the evil in men and I saw just how powerful fear can be. I was tasked with returning Top Secret "Artifacts" that were unearthed and taken by a secret sect of Nazis soldiers. We were to warehouse them in places around the world. The Nazis were determined to find power beyond this world and use for world dominance. The Nazi war machine was after the ability to rule this life and the afterlife. Bridging Heaven and Hell, Life and death...  immortality. We were the reason they failed. We were entrusted to make sure these "Artifacts" were never found and used, for anybody. That is why several countries took possession of them and vowed to bury them and never let anyone near them.

The occult haunted me. I had to know more. Perhaps I stumbled onto something I shouldn't have. Perhaps this is what drove the Nazis in their search. Whatever it is. I have it. And, I found the divide, between this world and the next. I tempted much more than fate. Before we get much deeper into that, let me explain the wayward journey I undertook and of the eight souls that were chosen to save me from myself. Although they never knew what they were thrusted into, it is with them that my salvation and the salvation of the world, resides.
