Sunday school never prepared me for what I saw daringly time in the “outfit”. Lots of religious and sacred relics were retrieved, some I knew of and most I didn’t. It was apparent to me that the lessons sister Margret taught in class was missing some significant information. Either she didn’t know or she cared too much about to us tell us the whole truth. 

We didn’t know how many articles were out there that needed to be recovered. We had a ledger that was found in a bunker outside Berlin and assumed it was meticulously maintained. The ledger was broken down categorically by order of importance/power. We had all them except the top of the list, the spear of destiny. We had no clue as to where to look. There was no mention of other than a register number assigned to It.

Sgt. Burton was a fearless man and revered most the articles we recovered. This spear was different. Although he would never admit it, I know he feared it. Or feared its capabilities. He once told me, “that powers of the Devine are not to be trifled with. Man had its chance long ago”.

From what I’ve learned of this spear, has been used to rewrite reality and create alternate timelines. It has the power of foresight and wielding it, one can channel their power through it and destroy demons and beings of a magical nature. He who possesses the spear can control the world.

If any of this is true, maybe I should fear it too. No wonder it has top priority on things to recover from the nazis.
