Throughout my life I have memorized many things, words to my favorite songs, multiplication tables, my grocery lists, the army’s creed, the middle names of all my girlfriends, and so on. The thirteen articles we needed to find has been seared into my brain. So much so that I dream of them as if they call to me. The actual list is much longer but the 13 are the most important in all of mankind. Makes any list seem childish. 

I think all the stories Sgt. Burton told us has burrowed themselves  in my subconscious and it now has become my priority in life. To recover the articles or what as the sarge calls them, the celestial keys. I guess some on the list are not known to many people. I’m beginning to think there are some higher ups that might belong to some important church. Everything is so secret and so much disinformation.

I’m losing my mind. What has been seared in it, is being erased. What is happening to me?
